Anthony Cowie ‘Tec Trimix diver’

A native of the far north coast of Scotland and no stranger to some of the roughest seas, in one of the harshest climates in the world. This would generally be a good reason to stay on warm dry land but Anthony decided many years ago to slip beneath the waves and where he still spends much of his free time.

Anthony amassed a vast amount of experience in wreck diving from the cold deep World War 1 wrecks of Scapa Flow in Orkney to the more temperate waters in Australia. Currently and active Divemaster, Anthony has found his passion is Technical diving and holds the certification of ‘Advanced Trimix’ which puts him into the elite 1% of the global dive community, regularly exploring shipwrecks in 50 – 90 meters and beyond where Trimix is the gas of choice because normal air just can’t get you there.

Anthony’s attitude toward diving melds seamlessly with Scubamunkies philosophy of ‘I just want to go for a dive’ and his skills and enthusiasm for adventure and discovery make him an invaluable member of Matt’s Technical diving team.  Anthony loves nothing more than the phone call from Matt announcing ‘I’ve just got the marks for a new wreck, do you fancy going down to see if there is anything there?’
